Some of the most serious problems we face on a regular basis are technology issues. No matter if it is a collapse of a server, our favourite website is down, or if a hard drive is wiped out, technological problems take time and money to resolve.

Sometimes mobile problems can feel the most invasive and solutions cannot always be found easily. We rely increasingly on our cell phones every day, so it can be a real pain if we face difficulties and have to take them anywhere to fix them. Fortunately, if you know the solutions, many common cell phone issues can be solved easily.

See our guide to solving the most common problems with the smartphone below. Note that professional repair assistance is required for certain cellular solutions.

  • Slow phone responding speed

  • The problem with the majority of smartphone users by far is a device that seems to be slowing down over time. New operating system updates, particularly on old phones, along with apps that run when they are not in use appear to cause slow reactions. As long as the age of your phone does not delay, you can do a few things.

Begin by closing apps you don't use and change your configurations so that unimportant apps don't always run in the background. They eat precious space for RAM. Feel free to remove apps and software you do not need. By moving photos and other content to cloud services so that you can free up storage space.

In so many cases people install new mobile phone updates in the old cellphone. In such a case you can replace your old phone with a new or refurbished phone.

  • Quick battery drain issue

  • If your phone doesn't stay alive enough, how can you use it? Battery problems, usually caused by user abuse, are among the most common phone frustrations. Once you find your phone is always charging 100%, or seems to be dying too quickly on your way, try changing a few of the following adjustments and clearing devices that can drain your battery faster.

First, make sure your battery's charger is optimised. Then shorten your screen time so that your phone sleeps when not in use and, if possible, decrease your brightness. Whenever you need to access a phone without plugging it in for several hours, initiate the saving mode for your phone. Last but not least, modify your mobile phone settings so that system hogging applications and updates are not running in the background.

  • Cracked screen

  • As our cell phone displays are made of glass, it is not surprising that a heavy impact on it can lead to a rupture. It is therefore important for your phone to be repaired after the screen is damaged.

If the screen of your cell phone is already cracked, you will definitely want to replace it as soon as possible. Also whenever you are buying a new cell phone, always make sure to cover it with a proper mobile case.

  • Device got wet

  • Accidents happen to even the most careful people. When your phone is submerged in water, it's scary, especially if the display starts flickering or looks strange. It's true that water damage is one of the most difficult phone issues to solve, but there's always a ray of hope. Getting professional assistance is your best chance.

Rather than panicking, switch off your device and place it in rice to absorb some of the moisture before heading to the nearest phone repair shop. Do not attempt to repair your phone by plugging it in. The expert will be able to assess the damage, disassemble the gadget to dry out the components, and repair or replace particular parts as needed.

  • Over-heating

  • It's difficult to know what to do if your phone is unusually warm. Overheating may really harm your battery and screen life. So if your phone is becoming too hot, here are some better ways to cool it down.

To begin, keep your phone out of direct sunlight and place it in a dry, dark bag or pocket that will not absorb the sun's heat. After you've removed any external heat sources, take some time to relax your active phone by dimming the screen, dismissing apps, and avoiding excessive Wi-Fi or data use.

    .....
